I just tried editing one to add the caption and it seemed to work. I went to the planner and clicked on my post to try the solution from u/kld51 and it wasn't working for me so I just clicked directly on the photo and it took me out of MBS to regular FB with the photos already pulled up. I was having the same problem (I also manage social for a non-profit!) and I think I just figured something out.
